This weeks report from Ray Chase -

Present were: Al K., Harry K., Dave Snellman, Dave Sica and Phil V. The Mad Science Lab was torn down in the Firehouse and smaller items returned to the museum or storage. Larger pieces will be transported this week with Mike G.s flat bed trailer. We should be totally cleared out this week. Picked up lumber for the Exploratorium Kaleidoscope project and stared work on that with one of the science kids. They now indicate a schedule conflict on Wednesdays so not sure how we proceed from here.

A report from Joe G -

This week, I have been working on telecom museum more. I have begun to refinish one of the PBX's in my possession. I helped in the retrieval of 5 display cases purchased for InfoAge on Friday.

Thank you Ray, Ray and Joe. All reports are welcome.

*Remember - ask first before you start any construction. Thank you Martin for asking is we need a permit to run Cat-5 communications cable. I do not think we do, but that is were I have gotten us in trouble before. I will or Lou will check with the town. I still have to develop an internal form to submit to our 'Building and Grounds committee' prior to any work actions. They will review the form and submit the information to the town.

*Hotel boiler is having issues. Larrison Fuel and Oil completed cleaning. Appears fuel gun needs adjustment. We will check with Central Boiler to get the zone valves the Army disabled working

* We are getting close on picking an IEEE milestone plaque unveiling event in November of December.

---Thank you all. See you at tonight's meeting

*Reasons to tell persons why to donate (via check or PayPal) to our effort NOW: *
1) Saves an incredibly historic site
2) Honors WWII Signal Corps and Honor Front veterans
3) Helps education by inspiring kids to learn science
4) Furthers the development of a NJ Shore tourist destination.
5) Will create full and part-time employment
6) Improves property values in the North Wall and Shark River area.
7) We are the White House recognized stewards of the Camp Evans Historic District and now it is under our protection for future generations

**No Passion = No Progress. We have passion and we are progressing.**
If we do not tell kids what great things others have done to improve our nation how can we expect them to know what they are capable of.

Thank you,
Fred
